Al Rahwan is a Home Removals Company from Riyadh to Kuwait that takes your household from one front door to the next, whether you are leaving a tower flat, a villa in the north of the city or a house inside a compound. A surveyor looks at everything first; then the crew takes it apart, wraps it and loads it into a closed truck for a drive of roughly 640 km through Al Majma’ah and Hafar Al Batin and up to the Saudi post at Al Ruqai, across into Al Salmi on the Kuwaiti side, and on to your new address two or three days after loading. A single room’s furniture can go for as little as SAR 1,350, while SAR 2,300 is the opening figure for a family flat with three bedrooms and its white goods, and SAR 3,700 for an entire villa. Call 0568829975, give us your Riyadh neighbourhood and the Kuwaiti governorate you are heading to, and we will arrange a survey at no charge.

We wrote this for people who are packing up a Riyadh home and starting again in Kuwait: Kuwaiti families heading back after years of study or employment in the Saudi capital, expatriates transferred by their employer, and families following the breadwinner once he has a place ready. You will find a day-by-day account of what happens to your belongings, from the first survey visit until the last bed is bolted together in Jahra, Hawalli or Ahmadi, plus starting prices by home size, the border paperwork, how the family car comes along, and what is worth putting on a plane instead of the truck.
- The road: roughly 640 km overland from Riyadh to Kuwait City, heading north through Al Majma’ah and then Hafar Al Batin.
- The border post: Al Ruqai on the Saudi side opens onto Al Salmi in Kuwait; it is the nearest crossing for traffic coming from Riyadh.
- Timings: household goods arrive 2–3 days after loading, cars in 2–4 days, and air shipments within 24–48 hours.
- Prices from: SAR 1,350 per room, SAR 1,390 for a two-bedroom flat, SAR 2,300 for three bedrooms, SAR 3,700 for a villa.
- The car: sedans start at SAR 920 on a shared transporter, SUVs at SAR 1,100.
- On arrival: unloading, laying out, assembly and arranging in any of Kuwait’s six governorates.
Riyadh to Kuwait by Road: Route, Crossing and Transit Time
The removals truck leaves Riyadh northbound on the road to Al Majma’ah, continues towards Hafar Al Batin and then reaches the Al Ruqai crossing, which belongs to Hafar Al Batin governorate on the Kuwaiti border. Directly opposite stands the Al Salmi crossing, where the truck enters Kuwait and heads to Jahra before fanning out to the other governorates. The whole trip from Riyadh to Kuwait City is around 640 km, short by Gulf standards, yet the real transit time is not measured by the truck’s odometer alone: loading, procedures at both crossings and arranging the unloading slot all count.
| Stage of the trip | What happens |
|---|---|
| From your Riyadh home to the northern highway | The truck is sealed once the inventory is signed and sets off towards Al Majma’ah |
| Al Majma’ah, then Hafar Al Batin | The longest overland stretch inside the Kingdom |
| Al Ruqai crossing | Saudi exit formalities handled by the clearing agent authorised on the Fasah platform |
| Al Salmi crossing | Kuwaiti customs at Al Salmi process the entry, and an officer may open a few cartons to look inside |
| Jahra, then the other governorates | Drive to your address and unload at the time agreed with you or the building management |
Transit time also depends on what you are moving, since a full home needs a packing and loading day while a small carton joins the next departure:
| Type of move | Loading to delivery | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Flat or villa with all its contents | 2–3 days | Preceded by a survey day and a packing day, longer for large villas |
| One room or a part load | 2–3 days | Loaded on a shared truck bound for Kuwait |
| Dedicated closed truck | 2–3 days | Leaves on the day you choose once packing is complete |
| Car on a carrier | 2–4 days | Covered and strapped on a multi-deck transporter |
| Urgent items by air | 24–48 hours | From King Khalid Airport to Kuwait International Airport |
Why does a Riyadh household cross at Al Ruqai rather than Al Khafji?
Saudi Arabia and Kuwait share two land crossings. Al Khafji, facing Al Nuwaiseeb, sits on the coastal road and is the natural choice for Dammam, Al Khobar, Jubail and Al Ahsa. Riyadh lies in the centre of the Kingdom, and the shortest road from it climbs north to Hafar Al Batin and Al Ruqai, entering Kuwait on the Jahra side. That is why Al Rahwan routes every move from Riyadh and its surrounding towns through Al Ruqai and Al Salmi.
When does the clock start?
Count the two or three days from the moment the truck doors shut outside your house, not from your first phone call or the survey visit. Say the surveyor sees your Al Yasmin flat on Sunday and the crew packs and loads it on Monday; unloading in Kuwait then falls on Wednesday or Thursday. Planning on that basis lets you match the day you hand back the Riyadh keys with the day you pick up the Kuwaiti ones, so the family is never left without beds.
How Much Does a Home Move from Riyadh to Kuwait Cost?
The lowest-cost option is a part load sharing a truck with other customers, from SAR 1,290. One room on its own starts at SAR 1,350; add a second bedroom, a majlis and a kitchen and it is SAR 1,390; a three-bedroom flat with every appliance begins at SAR 2,300; a full villa or house begins at SAR 3,700. Each of these covers taking furniture apart, wrapping, loading, the road trip, unloading and putting it back together. Anything particular to your home, for example how many AC units come down or whether a valuable piece needs a timber crate, is assessed at the free survey and listed as its own item.
| Type of move | Starting from | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Part load on a shared truck | SAR 1,290 | A few pieces, a student’s belongings or a single professional |
| Furniture of one room | SAR 1,350 | A full bedroom set or a spare room |
| Small flat (two bedrooms with majlis and kitchen) | SAR 1,390 | A couple or a small family |
| Three-bedroom flat with appliances | SAR 2,300 | A mid-sized family in a building or tower |
| Villa or complete house | SAR 3,700 | Villas, duplexes and compound homes |
| Dedicated closed truck (transport only) | SAR 2,300 | Those who packed themselves and want a truck to themselves |
If a car or extra cartons are coming too, these are the starting prices on the same Riyadh–Kuwait lane:
| Item | Starting from |
|---|---|
| Small parcel up to 2 kg | SAR 37 |
| Parcel up to 10 kg | SAR 110 |
| Carton or suitcase up to 20 kg | SAR 140 |
| Per kilo by road, for larger quantities | SAR 6.5 |
| Per kilo by air (chargeable weight) | SAR 28 |
| Sedan on a shared carrier | SAR 920 |
| SUV on a shared carrier | SAR 1,100 |
| Car on its own dedicated carrier | SAR 1,390 |
| Luxury car inside an enclosed carrier | SAR 4,150 |
| Storage, insurance, wooden crates, AC removal | Set after the free survey |
What pushes the price up or down?
Two Riyadh flats with the same number of rooms can cost different amounts to move, because the surveyor looks at what is inside each room and how easy it is to reach, not just the room count. These are the factors behind the final quote:
- Size and type of furniture: a solid-wood bedroom with a six-door wardrobe takes more space and time than a light flat-pack set.
- Number of air conditioners and appliances: every split unit needs a technician to recover the gas and remove both units, and every large fridge needs special wrapping.
- The kitchen: taking down and refitting kitchen cabinets is carpentry work, and it varies with the length of the kitchen and the type of worktop.
- Floor and lift: a ground-floor villa is a different job from an eighth-floor tower flat without a dedicated service lift.
- Type of truck: a part load on a shared truck costs less than a truck reserved for your home alone.
- Extra services: insurance, storage and wooden crates appear as separate lines if you ask for them.
- Delivery address in Kuwait: a tower that needs a booked lift and management approval differs from a ground-floor house in Jahra.
Worked examples for Riyadh homes
These examples use starting prices; the final, itemised quote follows the survey:
- Two-bedroom flat in Al Malqa with a sedan: 1,390 + 920 = from SAR 2,310.
- Three-bedroom flat in Al Olaya with an SUV: 2,300 + 1,100 = from SAR 3,400.
- A villa in Al Narjis plus a sedan and an SUV: SAR 3,700 for the villa, 920 for the sedan and 1,100 for the SUV, which totals from SAR 5,720.
- Single professional with one room and three cartons of books: 1,350 + 140 + 140 + 140 = from SAR 1,770.
Are there offers on moves to Kuwait?
Yes. Al Rahwan runs offers on Kuwait moves most of the time, and they change with truck capacity and the departure schedule, so ask about them when you call. The real savings, though, come from decisions in your hands: clear out what you no longer need before the move, accept a part load if your belongings are few, and pack books and clothes into cartons yourself before the team arrives. The one area where cutting corners is a bad idea is packing, because a piece damaged on the road costs many times more than the materials that would have protected it.
Moving from Riyadh Flats, Villas, Compounds and Towers
Riyadh is a sprawling city, and the way a home is moved changes from one district to the next. A villa in the north of the city has its own logistics, a flat in a tower on King Fahd Road has others, and a traditional house on a narrow street in an older neighbourhood has a third set entirely. Al Rahwan’s crews know these differences before they arrive, because the surveyor asks about them and sees them first-hand.
Villas and duplexes
In districts such as Al Narjis, Al Malqa, Hittin, Al Yasmin, Al Arid and Qurtubah, a villa usually has two floors and an annex, with a men’s majlis, a women’s majlis, a family lounge, bedrooms with built-in or freestanding wardrobes, a large kitchen and sometimes an outdoor kitchen too. Moving a whole villa calls for a bigger crew and at least one full packing day, or two if there are many majlis sets, chandeliers and bookcases. Heavy pieces come down the stairs from the first floor on lifting straps, with covers protecting the banister and walls, and are loaded heaviest first.
Gated compounds
Many Riyadh residents live in walled compounds with a gate, security and set hours for trucks. Before moving day, the compound office issues a furniture exit permit, and the truck’s plates and crew names are registered if management requires it. Al Rahwan reminds you of this step during the survey, because a truck waiting two hours at the gate means a longer day for everyone.
Flats in towers and apartment buildings
Towers and lift-served buildings are common in Al Olaya, Al Sahafa, Al Muruj, Al Wurud and Al Sulimaniyah. Here the service lift is booked in advance with the building management, its walls and floor are covered with protective boards, and its dimensions are measured during the survey to see which pieces need dismantling before they go down. A long sofa or a large wardrobe that will not fit is either taken apart or carried down the stairs, depending on the crew leader’s call.
Older districts and narrow streets
In neighbourhoods such as Al Malaz, Al Aziziyah, Al Shifa, Al Suwaidi and parts of Al Batha, a large truck may not be able to park at the door. In that case a dyna or pick-up shuttles the furniture from the house to a nearby point where the closed truck waits, and the load is then arranged inside it. The dyna and pick-up never cross the border; only the closed truck travels to Al Ruqai and on into Kuwait.
Survey and Inventory: The Document That Protects You from Riyadh to Kuwait
The free survey is the most important step of a home move, because everything after it is built on what it records. The surveyor visits your Riyadh home or asks for a video of each room, then logs the furniture piece by piece: wardrobes and their door count, beds and their sizes, sofas and majlis seating, tables, appliances, air conditioners, chandeliers, rugs, and whatever sits in the store room or on the roof. That list determines the load volume, the truck type, the crew size and the number of packing days.
What to prepare before the surveyor arrives
- Sort what is coming with you from what will be sold or left behind, because the surveyor’s price covers whatever is in front of him.
- Open locked rooms, the store room and the annex, because forgotten items that surface on loading day upset the numbers.
- Write down the full Kuwait address now: governorate, area, block, street, house number, the floor, and whether there is a lift.
- Point out expensive or delicate items: antiques, paintings, crystal chandeliers, a marble table.
- Fix the date you hand over your Riyadh home and the date you receive the new one in Kuwait.
The photographed inventory
On packing day the surveyor’s notes become the final inventory, with a number for every piece or carton, a short description and a photo of valuable items. That list does three jobs: it is the packing list the clearing agent needs at the border, it is the basis for insurance if you choose it, and it is the reference you use to check your belongings on delivery in Kuwait. Sign it in Riyadh, keep a copy, and tick off the numbers as you receive them.
Packing in Riyadh According to Each Item
Good packing does not mean wrapping everything in plastic. Every material has its own protection, and the wrong method can harm a piece more than it helps. This is how Al Rahwan’s crews deal with the contents typical of Riyadh homes:

- Fabric sofas and majlis seating: a first layer of cloth or paper against the upholstery, then a thick moving blanket, then plastic wrapped loosely so it neither traps moisture nor marks the fabric.
- Leather sofas: soft paper or cotton cloth, then a blanket, keeping plastic away from direct contact with the leather in the road heat.
- Wooden surfaces and tables: reinforced cardboard corners, then blankets, with tape stuck on the blanket rather than the wood.
- Mirrors and glass: double cardboard sheets on both faces, a clear “glass” marking, and loaded upright rather than flat.
- Mattresses: sealed mattress bags that keep dust out, loaded at the top or along the side of the load.
- Crockery: every piece wrapped separately inside a divided carton, heaviest at the bottom.
- Screens and small appliances: the original box if you still have it, otherwise a foam-lined carton.
- Rugs: shaken free of dust and rolled around a tube with wrapping paper, never folded, so the fibres do not crack.
Labelling by room
Each box is labelled with its number and its destination room in the new home, such as master bedroom, boys’ room, kitchen or majlis. On unloading day this saves hours, since the porters carry every box straight to the right room rather than piling everything in the entrance. One box holds the first-night kit (bed linen, toiletries, phone chargers, family medicines) and carries a distinct mark so it is the first one opened.
Road heat and dust
The road from Riyadh to Hafar Al Batin and on to Kuwait crosses open desert, hot in summer and dusty on windy days. So the load travels in a closed truck, cartons are sealed with wide tape along every edge, candles, perfumes and cosmetics are kept away from fabrics, and heat-sensitive medicines are best carried with you or sent by air.
Dismantling and Reassembly: Wardrobes, Kitchens, Majlis Sets, ACs and Appliances
A large part of the value of a home move lies in dismantling and reassembly, because that is what puts your furniture back as it was in Kuwait. Al Rahwan’s crews include carpenters for wardrobes, kitchens and beds, air-conditioning technicians, and packers and loaders, each with a defined job.

Wardrobes and bedrooms
A large wardrobe is emptied first, then its doors and hinges come off, then the shelves, then the side panels. Each set of screws and hinges goes into a small bag marked with the same wardrobe number, and the bag is fixed to one of its panels. Beds are taken apart at the headboard and side rails, and the boards are wrapped in blankets and tied together. This order is what lets the carpenter in Kuwait put the room back exactly as it was.
Kitchens
If you decide to move the kitchen cabinets, the carpenter removes them after disconnecting the built-in appliances, numbers the wall and base units in sequence, and wraps the worktop separately. Before deciding, though, measure the kitchen in your Kuwait home, because the cabinets of a four-metre kitchen may not suit a smaller one, in which case moving the appliances alone may make more sense.
Majlis sets and sofas
A traditional floor majlis with its cushions and back rests is folded and wrapped piece by piece, and large sofas have their legs and backs removed where possible. Curtains come down with their rails and are folded into clean cartons, with the rails and fixings kept together.
Air conditioners
A split unit is not simply pulled off the wall. The technician first recovers the gas into the outdoor unit, then disconnects and caps the pipes, then removes and wraps both units. In Kuwait, he installs them in a suitable position and tests the cooling. The number of AC units is counted into the quote from the survey onwards, and the cost of removing and refitting them is set after the survey according to their number and type.
Electrical appliances
Unplug the fridge a day early, empty it and let it dry out; lock the washing machine drum with its transport bolts if you still have them; tape the oven door shut. Televisions go into padded boxes and travel standing up. Before anything is unplugged, the technician photographs how each machine is wired and plumbed, so reconnecting in Kuwait is quick.
Loading the Closed Truck
How the load is arranged inside the truck is part of protecting the furniture. Heavy appliances and dismantled wardrobes go at the bottom against the front wall, followed by beds and tables, then sofas, with cartons filling the gaps so nothing shifts, all held by tie-down straps along the sides. Mirrors and glass travel upright between soft items, and mattresses go on top. Before closing the doors, the crew leader checks the piece numbers against the inventory and signs the count with you.
If yours is a part load, your belongings get a defined space in the shared truck, separated from other customers’ items by a divider or distinctive covers, and every carton carries a label with your name and shipment number.
Crossing from Al Ruqai to Al Salmi and Customs on Both Sides
Al Rahwan sorts out the documents while the truck is still in Riyadh, rather than waiting until it reaches the border. Through Fasah, the government customs portal, you grant your broker an e-mandate, and he lodges the export declaration under your name with the inventory attached. The truck is stamped out at Al Ruqai, then moves on to Al Salmi, where the Kuwaiti customs officers check it in.
Inspection at the border is normal, and an officer may want certain boxes opened, which is precisely why the packing list should describe what each box really holds. Kuwaiti customs decide how used household effects are treated according to whatever rules apply on the day the truck crosses, and the clearing agent walks you through what that means for your load before anything is packed.
Do you need to be at the crossing?
Usually not. The electronic Fasah authorisation means you do not have to appear at Al Ruqai, and the clearing agent follows up at Al Salmi. What matters is that your phone and the Kuwaiti recipient’s phone stay reachable, since the agent may need to confirm a detail or a copy of a document.
Arriving in Kuwait: Delivery Across the Six Governorates
Coming through Al Salmi, the first governorate the truck meets is Jahra; from there loads split off towards the Capital, Hawalli, Farwaniya, Mubarak Al-Kabeer and Ahmadi. Al Rahwan reaches every district in Kuwait, and on arrival the crew unloads, places the furniture, assembles it and sets the rooms up.
| Governorate | Areas include | Delivery note |
|---|---|---|
| Jahra | Jahra, Saad Al Abdullah, Abdali | Nearest governorate to Al Salmi, so it is reached first |
| Capital | Kuwait City, Shuwaikh, Dasma, Kaifan, Shamiya | Buildings and houses; unloading time agreed with building management |
| Hawalli | Hawalli, Salmiya, Jabriya, Rumaithiya, Mishref, Bayan | Many towers in Salmiya and Hawalli, so book the service lift early |
| Farwaniya | Farwaniya, Khaitan, Jleeb Al Shuyoukh, Rabiya, Ardiya | Busy streets; early-morning unloading is preferred |
| Mubarak Al-Kabeer | Sabah Al Salem, Adan, Qurain, Messila | Mostly standalone family houses, so unloading is simpler |
| Ahmadi | Fahaheel, Mangaf, Fintas, Mahboula, Wafra, Sabah Al Ahmad | In the south, so the drive from the Al Salmi side is longer |
Buildings and towers in Kuwait
If your new home is in a building or tower, book the service lift and get the management’s approval a few days before unloading, and tell Al Rahwan which unloading hours are allowed. Some buildings only permit unloading at set times, and knowing this in advance decides when the truck leaves Riyadh.
Assembly and arranging in the new home
The crew carries the numbered cartons to their rooms, the carpenter assembles beds and wardrobes, the technician installs the air conditioners, curtains go back on their rails and the majlis is laid out the way you want it. Finally, the inventory is checked with you, you sign for delivery, and the empty cardboard and plastic are cleared from your home.
Shipping the Family Car with the Household from Riyadh to Kuwait
Families relocating from Riyadh nearly always need their car on the other side as well, so Al Rahwan adds it to the same booking. It rides a long transporter with several decks, under a cover and with its wheels strapped down, and arrives two to four days after loading. Prestige cars get their own enclosed carrier.

| Car transport option | Starting from | For whom? |
|---|---|---|
| Sedan on a shared carrier | SAR 920 | Small and mid-sized family cars |
| SUV on a shared carrier | SAR 1,100 | 4x4s and large family vehicles |
| Dedicated carrier for your car | SAR 1,390 | Anyone who wants a fixed date without waiting for the carrier to fill |
| Enclosed carrier | SAR 4,150 | Luxury and classic cars |
Car paperwork
On the paperwork side, bring the car’s istimara and both plates, an export certificate and the owner’s ID. If the loan on it is not yet cleared, the bank must supply a letter; if a relative or friend is handing it over for you, they need your written permission; and the person collecting in Kuwait should supply a copy of their Civil ID. Al Rahwan looks up Kuwait’s import rules for your specific model before you book, so nothing about the car stops it at Al Salmi.
Tips before handing the car over
- Leave no personal items inside; put them in numbered cartons with the household.
- Photograph it from all four sides before handover.
- Leave just enough fuel in the tank to drive it on and off.
- Hand over one key and keep the spare with you.
Cartons, Suitcases and Parcels: When You Do Not Need a Full Move
Plenty of people heading from Riyadh to Kuwait have no use for a whole truck. Think of a graduate leaving King Saud University, or someone who rented a furnished flat: what they own fits into a handful of boxes and bags. For them the rates begin at SAR 37 for a small parcel under 2 kg, SAR 110 for anything up to 10 kg, and SAR 140 per carton or suitcase up to 20 kg, while bigger volumes go by road at SAR 6.5 a kilo and upwards.
How to pack a carton so it arrives intact
- Use strong new cartons, and keep books in small ones, since a large box of books becomes too heavy and splits.
- Fill gaps with paper or clothing so the contents cannot move.
- Seal the carton with tape in an H pattern on top and bottom.
- Write the Kuwaiti recipient’s name and mobile number on two sides.
- Keep a list of each carton’s contents, as it forms part of the inventory for customs.
Moving Offices and Office Furniture from Riyadh to Kuwait
Clinics, small offices and companies opening or relocating a unit in Kuwait use Al Rahwan as well, for desks, office chairs, filing cabinets, boardroom tables and IT equipment. Furniture is tagged by the office it came from, computers and printers go into padded boxes, and files travel in sealed, labelled cartons. Stock intended for sale is a different matter: it crosses as commercial cargo, so customs will want to see the firm’s registration, the invoice for the goods, an itemised list of every package, proof of origin if they request it, and who the importer in Kuwait is. It is billed from SAR 550 a pallet or by the truck.
Air Freight from Riyadh to Kuwait for What Cannot Wait
The truck takes the house, but a few things should not spend two or three days on the road: school enrolment files and job papers, passports and original certificates, the work laptop, medicines that spoil in heat, and enough clothes for the first few days. Those go on a flight from King Khalid International in Riyadh and are with you in Kuwait a day or two later.

Airlines bill by chargeable weight, starting here at SAR 28 a kilo, and chargeable weight is whichever is bigger: what the scale reads, or a figure worked out from the box’s size (multiply the three dimensions in centimetres, then divide by 6000). A 50 by 40 by 30 cm box works out at 10 kg on size alone; put 6 kg of clothes in it and you still pay for 10, which comes to at least SAR 280. Small, tightly filled boxes are therefore the economical way to fly.
Documents Needed for a Home Move from Riyadh to Kuwait
Four things cover most household moves: your ID or iqama copy, the itemised inventory, a Fasah authorisation for the clearing agent, and complete contact and address details for whoever receives the goods in Kuwait. Anything beyond that depends on the type of cargo:
| Shipment type | Documents |
|---|---|
| Household goods and personal effects | Copy of the sender’s ID or iqama; a numbered packing list; the clearing agent’s authorisation on Fasah; the person receiving in Kuwait, with name, mobile and full address (governorate, then area, block, street and house number, plus floor and whether the building has a lift); and possibly a copy of that person’s Civil ID |
| Car | Istimara and plates, export certificate, ID of the registered owner, finance-house letter where instalments remain, authorisation if a non-owner sends it, Civil ID copy of the person collecting |
| Office furniture or commercial goods | The firm’s registration certificate, an invoice for the goods, an itemised list per package, proof of origin if asked, and the Kuwaiti importer’s name and details |
| Personal cartons and parcels | Copy of ID or iqama, list of contents, recipient’s details and mobile |
Items That Do Not Travel with the Household
There are things no truck may carry over the border under any circumstances: drugs, firearms and their rounds, explosives, anything flammable, gas bottles and fuel, fake branded goods and dangerous chemicals. A second group can travel only if declared or approved beforehand, such as medicines in bulk, drones, radio transmitters, big batteries, plants and food that has to stay chilled. In practice: disconnect and empty the kitchen gas bottle a day early, tell the crew if you have medicines packed, and when in doubt, customs decides.
Insurance, Tracking and Storage
Insuring the household
Cover is optional. If you take it, you set the value of your furniture at booking, the policy is tied to that figure and to the inventory photographs, and the premium is listed separately from the move itself. It makes sense when the house holds costly or irreplaceable pieces, and each insured item has its description and condition written down before it goes on the truck.
Tracking the trip
There is no need to keep ringing for updates. Al Rahwan messages you at four points: as the truck leaves your door in Riyadh, once it is through the Saudi post at Al Ruqai, when it rolls into Kuwait, and when the last piece is inside your new home. If you want to talk in between, someone picks up the phone daily between 7 am and 11 pm.
Storage before departure or after arrival
Leases rarely line up neatly: your Riyadh tenancy may run out before the Kuwaiti flat is handed over, or the reverse. Al Rahwan can hold your wrapped furniture in a warehouse at either end until you are ready, with the storage charge worked out after the survey from volume and number of days.

Common Mistakes When Moving a Home from Riyadh to Kuwait
- Taking a price over the phone: a number quoted without anyone seeing your home tends to change once the truck is being loaded.
- Forgetting the detailed Kuwait address: the governorate alone is not enough; area, block, street and house matter to both the driver and the clearing agent.
- Not booking the lift in Kuwait: a truck that arrives and is not allowed to unload waits another day.
- Leaving a gas cylinder or perfumes in the load: this can hold up the whole crossing.
- An incomplete inventory: unnumbered cartons or contents that do not match the list prolong the customs inspection.
- Packing important papers in the truck: passports, certificates and medicines belong with you or in air freight.
- Moving what is not worth it: old pieces can cost more to move than to replace in Kuwait.
Why Al Rahwan for Your Move from Riyadh to Kuwait?
Because taking a household across a border is a different job from a move across town. Al Rahwan’s drivers know the run up to Al Ruqai and into Al Salmi, its office knows Fasah and the Kuwaiti customs routine, and its crews include carpenters and AC technicians rather than porters alone. Beyond Kuwait, Al Rahwan ships to any country worldwide by road, sea or air, keeping air for urgent loads, and Kuwait sits near the top of its busiest lanes. If you are weighing other freight options on this lane, see Shipping company from Riyadh to Kuwait.
